Ljubljana’s  Town Hall
The Ljubljana Town Hall, also called Magistrat or Rotovž, is one of the hallmarks of the old part of the Slovenian capital; it makes its mark not only through its distinctive baroque architecture but also with its history of people and events that shaped the destiny of Ljubljana through the centuries.
Wine culture in Slovenia
“The vintage, friends, is over, and here sweet wine makes, once again, sad eyes and hearts recover” are the introductory verses of the Zdravljica poem by the poet France Prešeren, whose seventh stanza Slovenians chose as their national anthem. Cultivation of grapes and wine has always been an important part of the life of Slovenians, as are the various practices connected to viticulture. Wine culture in Slovenia is the theme of the exhibition prepared by the Slovene Ethnographic Museum in Ljubljana.
Jurjevanje in Bela Krajina
Jurjevanje is the oldest Slovenian folklore festival, organised for the 46th time now in Bela Krajina. This folklore and heritage festival lasts several days and this year will take place from 17 to 21 June in Črnomelj.
Monk B.Petauer, photographer
Monk Branko Petauer is a member of a monastic order in the Stična monastery in Dolenjska. He is a Cistercian, so his life is dedicated to prayer and work. He is also driven by creativity – he successfully captures chosen scenes from nature via the lens of his camera.
Musicians B. Pucihar and M. Božič
Creative and inventive musicians Blaž Pucihar and Miro Božič are constantly searching for new ideas in musical creativity and re-envisioning.
