The event has become a tradition in the area, and is attended by high-profile businesspeople and politicians. This year, 1000 euros were donated to Botrstvo (Sponsorship in Slovenia), a humanitarian campaign.
Winemaker Zdravko Mastnak said that the goal of the tradition is to bring people closer together. “The idea is to bring people living along the river Sava closer together, including people in neighbouring countries,” said Mastnak.
The Slovenian Economy Minister was on hand for the event, as were foreign investors from Russia and Croatia. Tomaž Režun, the mayor of Radeče, said he was happy that the event was such a success.
