winter World Cup season did not bring any victories for the country.

Russian Anton Šipulin has won the men's mass start event at Pokljuka. Frenchman Martin Fourcade came in second and Austrian Simon Eder was third. The only Slovenian Jakov Fak was eighth, mastering a great finish. In the women's competition the winner was Kaisa Mäkäräinen of Finland while Slovenia's Teja Gregorin was 27th.

There was much more snow at Pokljuka in March, so the organizers had more trouble to prepare the tracks now, as the snow cover was not thick enough. They succeeded and the weather also rewarded their efforts.

Pokljuka had welcomed more than 15 thousand visitors in the last four days.

The biathlon event in the heart of the Julian Alps will again host best competitors between the 16th and 20th of December next year.
