According to the budget submitted by the Prime Minister today, it will not be necessary for Slovenia to call for the EU troika for aid. The Finance Minister, Uroš Čufer, confirmed her sentiments, saying Slovenia was moving towards fiscal stability. Bratušek said the country had no choice but to smartly balance revenues and expenditures. She also said it was too soon to tell how much banks required. A report on the status of the country's largest bank, NLB, is expected next month. Altogether 8 Slovenian banks are currently undergoing stress tests.
