There have recently been questions if the Slovenian army deployed quickly enough in the aftermath of devestating ice storms. This has led to a review of the entire system of civil protection and services. Around 48,000 people were involved in rescue work of some kind. Minister Jakič insists that the army was not deployed any later than it should have been. The Prime Minister has ordered a review of the country's reaction to the crippling storm that caused massive damage to Slovenia this month.
