The Commission for the Prevention of Corruption spoke out against Mayor of Komenda Tomaž Drolec. The Commission says it is a conflict of interest for him to serve as mayor and also Chairman of the supervisory board of the company PCK Upvin.

The commission said that the two positions are incompatible. The mayor was notified and asked to forgo one of his positions within three months.

Drolec did not. Therefore, the commission has now decided to inform the public. At the same time, the Commission pointed out that there is a lack of legislation that allows for elected officials to be recalled if they violate regulatory norms.
