He managed to complete the marathon in 2 hours 10 minutes and 16 seconds. He'll get a prize of 12,000 euros. Anton Kosmač was the best Slovenian runner and came in 9th. Around 14,700 runners from 40 countries took part in this year's marathon.

Meanwhile Mitja Krevs and Lidija Cerkovnik won the 21km race. The winners of the 10km race were Maruša Mišmaš, the Slovenian record holder on 3km with hurdles, and Blaž Grad, who won last year as well. Marko Sever won the marathon among paraplegics.

Those who took part in the marathon said they enjoyed themselves and were happy to have nice weather.
