It is all about banks in Brussels today … The European Commission is expected to approve the state-funded recapitalisations at five Slovenian banks.
The move comes several days after the government published the results of the stress tests and the plans for the measurements. After a successful night of talks, Eurozone finance ministers are set to look for a deal on a new bank regulatory system, especially on the funding of a mechanism to close failing banks before they damage the economy.
