The end of the race was very exciting as Norwegian J.T. Boe has overtaken Fak, but Fak didn’t want to give up and remain in fourth place so he used his last strength to push forward.

Head Coach Uroš Velepec commented on his athlete’s success by saying that the team has enjoyed the run and that although the competition was fierce and there was not much space to make mistakes, Fak managed to stay focused and was not afraid. He also said Fak did everything in his power to shoot with confidence.

Fak is now third in the overall standings. Slovenia hosts next biathlon World Cup race on Pokljuka next week.
