The first to greet the crowd which gathered at the Congress square were the members of the Alpine ski national team, led by the double world champion Tina Maze. She said that after the end of the season she has visited Črna na Koroškem several times, and that the level of adrenaline has diminished, things touch her more than before. She thanked her faithful fans for their support, and confided in them that she was getting ready for a difficult exam.
She is continuing with training, and trying to keep her form, although she intends to take a year off.

Fak: My surname is a bit unusual
Biathletes were next to step on the stage, the speaker being Jakov Fak. The most successful Slovenian biathlete said that his rest after the end of the season was rather short. "I must say that a success brings also responsibility for future. I had a short rest, and now I am back at work, and working hard," he explained and mentioned his hope that the next season would be even more successful.

He also mentioned that he was never bothered in the least by jokes about his surname. "My surname is a bit unusual, but it is international, and easily memorized," he said and disclosed that he prefers jokes about his surname, and the surname of the Swiss Alpine skier Lara Gut.

Flisar prefers rock, all kinds of rock
Filip Flisar spoke on the stage, and disclosed that his fans, his faithful followers to all the races, started gathering strength for the next season. The charismatic athlete from Maribor spoke also of his favourite type of music. "Rock'n'roll is cool. Mainly rock versions, alternative and good old rock. I respect music of quality, not the music which is mostly played now, where unclothed women in videospots are more important than music itself," he explained.

Prevec's bibs took children to the seaside
The crowd on the stage was the biggest when the Nordic skiers introduced themselves, and ski jumpers of both genders. Peter Prevc, the most successful Slovenian ski jumper and the second best ski jumper of the last season World Cup said that he and his colleagues had been training for a month, and are getting ready for a new season. One of the climaxes of the season will be also the World Championship at Kulm. Lately Prevc participated at a number of charity events: "I respond with pleasure to a charity event. When a person buys one of my bibs, one child can go on holidays to the sea; actually quite a number of children can go with the money received for one of my bibs," he said.
