According to the National Statistical Office the economic activity decreased by 0.6 per cent in the third quarter of the year. That’s the least in the last 18 months. Despite the latest signs of a stabilisation in domestic consumption, the Slovenian economy has now failed to register growth for eight consecutive quarters. A greater dropp of the GDP was again prevented by external demand. Exports have increased for the fifth quarter in a row, this time by 4.9 percent.
