The new Minister of Justice, Goran Klemenčič, has agreed together with the Bar Association of the Republic of Slovenia on the point value to remain as it is.

Additional burden on the budget due to higher tariffs for free legal assistance and legal representation will be eased by the Attorneys Amendment Bill, reducing the fee by half.

The government has decided to denounce a reintroduction of court fees set to be payed by creditors of bankruptcy and reorganization proceedings, amounting to EUR 30 per each reported claim. This intention was now abandoned, due to negative response.
