Andrej Klobasa, head of the Hauliers' Association at the Chamber of Craft Industries and Small Business of Slovenia said after the negotiations that Minister Omerzel will ensure that all the hauliers’ outstanding issues will be solved this month. If not he said there will be a hauliers’ protest on 31 January.

The section for traffic at the Chamber of Craft Industries and Small Business has for a long time warned of pending issues with the relevant ministry. Among them are higher tolls, excessive fines and lack of subsidies for the purchase of ecological vehicles.
