The Hospice House was opened in the end of 2010. Since then the House representatives have failed to find the common ground with the state regarding the financing of their activity. Consequently they had announced the closing of the hospice several times, but somehow managed to keep it open – until now.
The President of the Republic Borut Pahor already in 2013 visited the Hospice House, and promised to try to find a solution for financing its activity.
