The low season with small numbers of guests usually closes the hotels for one to two weeks. Kempinski Palace in Portorož will be closed longest, namely until the end of February.

The majority of hotels are already closed and the rest are expected to close their doors next week. Grand Hotel Bernardin in Portorož will be the first to open its doors again on January 20th.

Managers say the low number of guests is also one of the reasons why many hotels have decided to temporarily close their doors during the winter.
