The agency says it will need an additional 70 million euros for emergency interventions in the second half of the year. It further explains that only every fourth road in the country is in good condition.

The state of Slovenia's roads has been in decline for years. The percentage of roads in good condition has halved since 2003. Slovenia has a state road network of six thousand kilometers. Only 1.600 km fulfill all the needed standards.
