As Slovenia's bank await the results of the stress tests, the biggest bank NLB has already informed 80 of its employees that they would be let go from work.
The bank plans to terminate contracts with 700 employees in the period of three years. With the cuts it plans to save around EUR 28m.
The bank also plans to lower the number of offices across the country, reduce its presence abroad and sell real estate. The bank's union is already threatening with action.
