During the last two days, President Pahor held talks on the results and further measures with Prime Minister Alenka Bratušek and the governor of the Bank of Slovenia Boštjan Jazbec. Pahor acknowledges that the problems of the Slovenian banking system are very serious but added that the bank problems can be solved by the country itself.

Pahor said that in his opinion state-owned banks should be privatized in accordance with the criterea of the European Commission and foreign investors attracted - not only to banks, but to the revival of the economy at large
