As is known due to lack of funds the directorate will limit traffic on 15 bridges that need to be renovated. This means a heavy blow for companies, as their costs will grow. Gregor Ficko head of the road directorate stated that more than 60 % of the 6000 km of state and regional roads in Slovenia are in a very bad shape. Ficko also warned that Slovenia will need 60 years to reconstruct and renovate roads if the funds foreseen for road reconstructions stay on the current level.
