The new regulations for drainage could see a massive price increase for people in apartment buildings. The complicated logic for calculating water charges may mean a considerable disparity between the owners of private houses and apartment owners. Owners of older property may end up paying up to 30% more. The Minister for Infrastructure and Environment Samo Omerzel signed a revision to the regulation on the methodology for the pricing of services municipal utilities. In this way, it could come into force by July 1st, not April 1st.
