The Slovenian Environment Agency forecasts that it will rain all day, with from 30 to 60 litres of rain per square metre falling in some parts of western Slovenia and in the Savinja Alps until evening. The heaviest rainfall is expected in Posočje where up to 100 litres per square meter is forecast.

During the day there is the possibility that some rivers in western and central Slovenia will rise; the greatest threat being the Vipava and its tributaries.

The Traffic Information Centre has reported that due to water on the road surface of the H4 expressway Razdrto -Vrtojba between the junctions Ajdovščina and Selo traffic is hindered in the direction of Italy.

This evening the rain will stop. The weather forecast for Monday and Tuesday is mostly cloudy and mainly dry. It will remain relatively warm.
