It also ruled that the regulation of the legal position of taxpayers was not determined by the law clearly enough. As a result many people have struggled to change any wrong data the surveying company GURS had collected concerning their property. This means that people won’t have to pay the real estate tax for now and that the compensation for the use of land will remain in force in 2014. It will also have a serious effect on the budget. The tax was supposed to bring in EUR 320m this year.
