The hosts won in the B category (up to 750kg), while in the main A category (900kg) it is was the Izviri Dobrina team from Loka pri Žusmu which was victorious. Three more state tournaments are to follow.

Each team has eleven members, seven of which pull the rope. Participants say it’s a serious sport with official rules. Members train weekly and keep fit with work around the house. Rope pulling is also a sport which is present at almost every “veselica” party.
