The Multimedia Centre is introducing a new service called RTV 4D. The service enables live streaming of TV and radio programmes, delivers an archive of programmes and other journalistic pieces, and offers a detailed insight into the RTV’s programme listing.
In the coming weeks, RTV 4D is going to replace the existing services (web pages, mobile apps) for broadcasting RTV-programmes as well as accessing the audio /video archive and TV/radio listings. We’d like to point out some key improvements: the service is easy to use, view and search through, the contents are being published quickly, the quality has been improved, and special attention has been given to increasing the accessibility of the media content for elderly users and users with hearing impairments.
RTV 4D offers numerous advanced options related to radio and TV contents. A renovated search engine and user interface has simplified the process of browsing through TV/radio programmes and other journalistic pieces. Users can limit the search results by the programmes and genres they’re interested in. A two-hour time delay on streaming the live RTV programmes is enabled, and a selection of programmes
is available with subtitles. A few programmes and journalistic pieces are now tagged with geographical data and enable broadcasting by the location of the user.
It is our belief that the news, sports, art & culture, entertainment and other contents, being created by Radiotelevizija Slovenija for you, will be more accessible due to the new service. We plan on making further improvements to the service in the future. Welcome to the fourth dimension.
