The country, which narrowly avoided an international bailout in 2013, plans to hold a total of eight T-bill auctions this year. In April and October it will offer 18-month treasury bills along with the shorter-maturity bills.

At the last T-bill auction in November, interest rates dropped to historic lows as the yields on 3-month and 6-month bills fell to zero. The yield for 12-month bills eased to 0.25 percent, with analysts saying they could go into negative territory this year.
