Her absence was likely due to Friday's Positive Slovenia Congress in Brdo, where she was beaten by Zoran Janković. But Zoran Jankovič, the Mayor of Ljubljana and once again President of the party he founded two and a half years ago, arrived smiling and shook hands with all the guests sitting in the first row – including Milan Kučan, the first president of Slovenia.

The event, which was organized by the Veterans Association of the National Liberation Front, included more than 500 performers - ballet dancers, wind orchestras, many - especially littoral - choirs, partisan choirs, Rock Partyzani, Eva Hren, Lea Sirk, Lara Jankovic, Primoz P. Ram Siter and many others.
