Last week, children from eastern Slovenia had a week off, but now it's time for the children from the Gorenjsko, Goriško, Notranjsko and Primorsko region to stay at home. Those from Zasavje and Kočevje also have a chance to enjoy winter outside the classrooms.
During the winter holidays, there will be many activities organised for children, mostly free of charge.
School is back on for 75.645 primary school students and 34.937 high school students from eastern Slovenia.
