Around 60 firefighters came to help the residents of Prevalje in clearing away the damage. Apart from pumping out the rainwater from buildings, firefighters also rescued two people from flooded cars. It is too early to estimate the material damage, but there are fears it will be big.

Towards the evening, heavy rainfall also caused problems in the areas of Velenje, Šoštanj, Žalec and Kamnik, as well as in the municipalities of Prevalje, Ruše and Selnica ob Dravi.
