As the title of the performance - Alice in an Aquatic Wonderland - implies, Alice made a move from books and the silver screen to floating objects in the heart of Ljubljana. The 90-minute story took her past various acrobatic portrayals of characters from the original story all the way to the Queen of Hearts. Along the way, she performed somersaults, made several jumps into the water, and bravely stood up to a knight, whom she defeated in a fencing duel.

More than 100 people performed on rafts, little boats, an inflatable water platform, a large tarp, a crane, and a Russian swing. The show consisted of several acts. “Each group prepared its own act. The performance is composed of separate acts that are connected to the story, as is usually the case with circuses,” explained Tomaž Kranjec before the show.
