Before the start of the new season Tina Maze practiced a great deal, mainly the slalom. Her training has proved worthwhile, because in Levi she won the slalom. This is her 24. win in the World Cup.
With the start number of 13, Slovenia’s best skier was in the lead after the first run. Frida Hansdotter of Sweden won second place (+0.34).
Kathrin Zettel of Austria also won a place on the podium. She was fifth after the first run and had the best time in the final race winning 3.place (+0.52).
