The Institute of Macroeconomic Analysis and Development of the Republic of Slovenia (UMAR) in the new issue of the Economic Mirror (Ekonomsko ogledalo) publication establishes that the real export of goods has increased in the last months, a somewhat smaller growth of the extent of production of processing activities is continuing, strengthening of construction industry has stopped yet it is still higher than in the beginning of the year.

Conditions at the labour market keep improving, as the number of persons employed in August increased, while the number of registered unemployed persons is diminishing.

Conditions within the banking system are gradually stabilizing, but the extent of loans to the local non-banking sector has additionally diminished in the first three quarters of the year, Umar additionally explains. Deleveraging of both household and bank debts abroad has slowed down, while deposits by households and state have increased during first nine months; however at the end of the third quarter outflows of deposits from the banks have been noted.

Deterioration of the quality of bank claims has settled in the last months, in the end of August the share of delays over 90 days was 14.8%.
