The People’s party SLS is just below the parliamentary threshold of 4% and it seems unlikely that it will manage to enter parliament for the first time in Slovenia's history. According to official data only 659 people have cast their ballots at the early elections in comparison with the 2012 elections, when the number stood at 2,416.

After Cerar's party the Pensioners' party Desus came in second with a bit more than 21% and the Democrats SDS are in third place with around 16%. The results of voting by mail have had no major impact on the distribution of seats in parliament. The votes by mail from abroad should be received by the National Electoral Commission by 21 July.
