Belak took 52nd place among 95 competitors in all-around gymnastics, with 51.665 points (13.200 44 for uneven bars, 13.766 54 for vault, 12.433 73 for floor excercise, and 12.266 76 for balance beam).

"The match was postponed by an hour. We had already warmed-up and arrived to the hall when we were told about the delay due to technical problems, and had to wait for another hour. The first tool, uneven bars, was great, then I fell off the balance beam and completed it without the sequence, which resulted in one and a half point less. The floor exercise was well performed, but the score was low; the leap was not so good. All in all - I am satisfied to be able to compete in spite of my knee injury, and resulting pains. It could have been better, but considering I had had problems walking for two days, I am really satisfied," the 21-year old gymnast from Ljubljana summarized the happening in Rio.

In 2008 Adela Šajn represented Slovenia at the Olympic games, and Saša Golob four years later in London.
