It will be a group of unaffiliated deputies. The head of the ZaAB deputy group Jani Möderndorfer had already announced his exit from the deputy group; on Sunday he informed the Party of his withdrawal from the party, and consequently his exit from the deputy group. "Unfortunately it meant that our deputy group ceased to exist," the president of the ZaAB Party Alenka Bratušek explained. A deputy group must have at least three members. Möderndorfer's exit meant that their group stopped complying with this condition.

Both deputies, Alenka Bratušek and Mirjam Bon Klanjšček, are convinced that they will be able to participate in the work of the National Assembly in a constructive manner through the unaffiliated deputy group. The group will be led by Dobovšek, who assured that the decision on the name of the Deputy Group will be made promptly.

Constitution of a deputy group within the National Assembly by unaffiliated deputies is not a novelty, yet the disintegration of an existing deputy group as it happened with the ZaAB deputy group is a rare occasion.
