The President of the European Council, Donald Tusk, begins a 2-day visit to Slovenia today.

During the visit, he will discuss a number of matters with Prime Minister Miro Cerar, including the upcoming EU-Balkan summit, which takes place on the 17th of May, and the EU summit in June.

Mr.Tusk toured the western Balkans last week.

Other topics up for discussion include migration and the reform of the common asylum system.

Mr. Cerar and Mr.Tusk will head to Piran this evening before continuing their talks tomorrow.
