Education Minister Simona Kustec is happy with the first week of remote schooling after all schools in Slovenia were closed due to the covid-19 epidemic. According to the first statistics 380 primary schools, out of a total of 455, are already taking part, while others are encouraged to do so. According to Kustec the most used services are e-mails, websites and web classrooms. She also stated that the viewing of educational programs on TV has increased. The first week of remote schooling found around 700 students facing problems because they either didn’t have a computer or internet access, but this is being addressed with the help of schools.
