The Hungarian banking group OTP has completed its takeover of Slovenia’s second largest bank, NKBM. The bank announced that the acquisition process has been successfully completed. The NKBM headquarters will remain in Maribor, but the bank’s logo will change to a green colour. Next in line now is the merger of NKBM and SKB, another Slovenian bank which the Hungarian group acquired in 2019. This is expected to take a year and a half.
