Speaking to TV Slovenija, PM Janez Janša said difficult days were ahead, and that we would probably have to give up certain liberties and freedoms. In his end-of-the-year interview, Janša was not specific about the prospect of mandatory vaccination against Covid-19, but said the Constitutional Court had annulled several government coronavirus measures in the past. In the interview he also hailed Slovenia's EU presidency as a success, and also touched on EU's enlargement process, Slovenia's economy and next year's parliamentary elections.
