The head of the expert group on COVID-19, Bojana Begović, has stated that gatherings in public places of up to 500 people might be possible by mid-June.
Beović said that the rate at which rules could be relaxed was hard to predict.
She said that it was almost impossible to know who had been in contact with whom in a large group and that the risk of spreading the virus was higher in larger groups, therefore caution was still advised.
