While Slovenia is still dealing with the aftermath of yesterday's storm, a new thunderstorm system has already hit western Slovenia. A red warning has been issued for western and central Slovenia until 4 p.m.
The thunderstorm system is rapidly moving and characterized by very powerful wind gusts and localized hail. According to weather forecasters, the thunderstorms could continue well into the night. The authorities are urging people camping or spending time outdoors to seek safety before the storm hits.
