The conference aims to connect people who could contribute to creating more eco-friendly jobs. This is also encouraged by the European Union. Special funds are envisaged for green jobs in EU’s new financial perspective.

Initial estimates show that around 60 thousand new green jobs could become available in Slovenia. More opportunities for eco-friendly jobs can be expected in areas of wood processing, organic farming, waste management, renewable energy and energy efficiency.
