Flisar, known for his handlebar moustache, is a four-time world cup winner. This was his seventh medal and his first after 2012.

Yesterday's win came after he was disqualified in the quarter finals for allegedly running over a pole. Following his complaint, he was back on track. First place went to Jean Frederic Chapuis from France.
