The President of the Republic and the new Archbishop of Ljubljana this morning met at the presidential palace. During a long conversation they exchanged their views on the situation within the society and agreed that the future of the community should be built on what is good, communicated the Office of the President of the Republic. They report that both partners in dialogue agreed that they would strive for more mutual respect, tolerance, acceptance of diversity, and more trust among people.

In this spirit, President Pahor will attend the official investiture of the Archbishop at the Ljubljana cathedral on Sunday. Besides by Pahor, the official investiture will be attended by the President of the Government of Slovenia Miro Cerar, with whom the new Archbishop had already met at the occasion of the Red Mass prepared by the Pravnik Academic Society at the beginning of the judicial and study year.
