On Thursday the basketball player Goran Dragić played the game of his career. Perhaps the additional motive was the fact that in Phoenix 3000 bobbleheads in his likeness were distributed to fans during the match.

The fact that this detail was mentioned in the reports of the match between Dragić's Suns and Memphis Grizzlies by practically all the American media proves it to be a great honour!

The management of the Arizona team days ago announced that the bobbleheads of the trainer Jeff Hornacek and of the "star guard", as they wrote, meaning Goran Dragić, would be distributed to fans at two home games. Thus on December 28 five thousand fans received bobbleheads of Hornacek, and on January 2 Goran Dragić, who was given the nickname Dragon in America, had his night.

Those who came first got Dragić – those who were the first in their seats of the US Airways Center received the figures in Goran Dragić likeness as a present, and for a lasting memory. Dragić has been recently elected the second best Slovenian athlete in 2013, and the MMC readers chose him as the best looking player of the European basketball championship in Slovenia.

Everything runs smoothly
27-year-old Goran started playing basketball in Ljubljana, and also his younger brother Zoran is a very successful basketball player. Goran is happy in his private life as well: just before the start of Eurobasket he married his girlfriend of many years Maja, and in November their son Mateo was born.
