The teenager has already called attention to himself in the state championship. Although he has started among the first eleven only three times, he is the leading scorer of the league with five goals. This time the Sport SOS gave answers to your questions on this subject.
407. Has it ever happened before that both father and son scored in Champions League? Or are Zlatko and Luka Zahović the only two?
Alenka Horvat
No, Zlatko and Luka Zahović are not the first father and son to score in Champions League, but it does happen rarely. Since the season of 1992/1993, when Champions League was introduced, only a trio from Gana managed to do it. Abedi Ayew, the father, better known as Abedi Pele, scored three times for Marseille in the first year of the competition (after scoring three times in the National Champions Cup for the same team).

Andre Ayew (24), was the first to follow in his footsteps; he has been playing for Marseille since 2007, and has scored six goals in Champions League. A year younger Jordan Ayew who is playing for the same club has added one goal to his statistics.

But if we take into account the National Champions Cup, which preceded Champions League, more such cases can be found. The most famous pair are probably Jose Aguas and his son Rui Aguas. They are the only players who managed to hold the title of the best shooter of the National Champions Cup of the season, and both as Benfica players. The father, Jose, scored 11 goals in the season 1960/1961; in that season Benfica won the European title. The son, Rui, scored four times against the opponents, and shared the title of the best shooter with five more players (Rabah Madjer, Michel, Jean-Marc Ferreri, Gheorghe Hagi and Alistair McCoist).
408. How many Slovenian players managed to score in Champions League?
Matija Kokal
Five Slovenian players were able to rejoice their goals in Champions League. Only Zlatko Zahović scored more than once (11 goals), while Ante Šimundža, Milenko Ačimović, Valter Birsa and Luka Zahović scored one goal each.
409. A lot has been said about Luka Zahović and the goal he scored in Champions League. But his performance in the national championship is outstanding as well – he has already scored five times. Which of football players needed the least amount of time to score in Champions League, and scored at least ten times in one season?
Andreja K.
Luka Zahović is with five scored goals the leading shooter of this year's national championship. He has played in only five matches, and spent 293 minutes on the field. In average he needed only 59 minutes to score, which is an excellent achievement.
The record holder for one season is Vlado Milošević, who in the season 1993/1994 played 1,254 minutes for Beltinci, and sent the ball 16 times into the opponents' net. In other words – he needed a bit more than 78 minutes for one goal. In the tables below you can find the ten most efficient shooters by seasons (with at least ten goals scored).
