The reasons for the high court fine are inconsistencies in the call for public chimney sweep services in Škofljica, which was published in 2008 by the Ministry of the Environment.

After a complaint of one of the bidders who wasn’t selected to do the job, the court decided that a new public call must be launched. The Ministry ignored the court’s decision several years and now it had to pay a high fine.
