For the third year in a row, the centre of Ljubljana hosted Čokoljana, a festival that focuses on presenting chocolate goodness.

55 stands were laden with chocolate delicacies from companies with rich tradition as well as boutique chocolatiers and confectionaries. Visitors could choose among more than 1,000 sweets made of chocolate and cacao, and in addition to regular-sized products each stand offered samples that cost 50 cents, so that one could try the best of each chocolatier. Sweet desserts were accompanied by chocolate wine, liquor, beer and hot chocolate.

Various workshops and lectures were also organized for the visitors, for example the lecture Chocolate is also healthy and a discussion on how to sweeten raw desserts, while the bravest could participate in the competition Baked right and the gourmet challenge Choco master. As previous editions, the event also had a humanitarian touch – the auction raised funds for the Association of Friends of Youth Ljubljana Moste.

Warmly invited to feast your eyes on photos from the festival, with stands full of chocolate truffles, minions, cakes, pies as well as chocolate stiletto shoes, chocolate tools, a chocolate pizza etc.
