Aleš Hojc and Peter Mežnar have been missing for eight days. Both members of the international expedition Durbin Kangri - Shaksgam 2014, they last reported on 5th July but then failed to return to the agreed camp. Based on their message, they have been having trouble with the weather there.

The rescue operation launched on 15th July is being conducted in conjunction with the Foreign Ministry and the Slovenian Embassy in Beijing.

Other expedition members and a chopper flying over the river area they're supposedly at, twice, had no luck in spotting the two missing climbers. Due to warmer temperatures, the water has risen, which prevents them to cross it. The rescue operation is said to continue tomorrow.
