According to first estimates, the ceremony was attended by around 7,000 people.

With the implementation of the Paris Peace Treaty after the 2nd World War in September 1947, a large part of the Primorska region was again joined with the now former Yugoslavia or the Republic of Slovenia.

The Ceremony at Lonki ended just past noon. Participants from all over the country and abroad started to arrive after 8 o'clock in the morning. According to preliminary estimates, there were around 7,000 visitors. Despite the large crowd, there were no major problems.
