Two years ago in Renkovci near Turnišče on an area of four acres of land the largest greenhouse for tomatoes was opened. Today just over another two acres have been added and another greenhouse.

In a year from now instead of two thousand tons of tomatoes 3 thousand tons, or a half kilo for every Slovenian, will be produced.

The investment has so far cost just over 10 million euros; three were given by the European Union. With the new greenhouse 25 new jobs were created – making a total of 75 employees.
